Objectifs
The overall objective of this course is for TESOL students to learn about different genres and texts written for English-speaking children and youth. By the end of this course, students will be able to:

Sommaire du contenu
Exploration, analysis and criticism of English-language literature for children and young adults (aged between five to sixteen) in its various forms: picture books, novels, comics, poetry, drama, digital literature, oral tradition literature, etc. Reflection on the sociocultural issues raised by these texts. Evaluation of the formal, rhetorical, and discursive aspects of this literature in relation to its intended audience.
